TERMS AND CONDITIONS – TechFleet

Welcome to TechFleet. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services, which include (A) the rental of vehicles and (B) the purchase of goods from our platform or physical locations.

By renting a vehicle or purchasing goods from TechFleet, you agree to be bound by these terms.

PART A: CAR RENTAL SERVICES

1. Eligibility

· Age Requirement: The primary driver must be at least 21 years old.

· License: All drivers must hold a full, valid, and unendorsed driver’s license held for a minimum of 12 months. International renters must present a valid license from their country of origin along with an International Driving Permit (if applicable).

· Payment Method: A valid credit or debit card in the driver’s name is required for the security deposit.

2. Reservations and Payments

· Rental Charges: Rates include the cost of the rental for the agreed period, plus [X] miles/km per day. Charges are calculated at the daily/hourly rate as quoted at the time of booking.

· Security Deposit: A security deposit/hold of [Insert Amount] is required at the time of pick-up. This is fully refundable provided the vehicle is returned on time, undamaged, and with a full tank of fuel.

· Payment Methods: We accept [Major Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Cash (if applicable)].

3. Vehicle Use and Restrictions

The vehicle shall NOT be used:

· For illegal purposes or in the commission of a crime.

· By any person other than the registered driver(s).

· For racing, pacemaking, or testing reliability.

· To push or tow any vehicle or trailer.

· While under the influence of alcohol or drugs.

· To carry passengers for hire or reward (e.g., Uber, Lyft) unless explicitly agreed upon in a separate commercial contract.

· Off-Roading: Vehicles may not be driven on unpaved roads or off-road terrain unless the vehicle is specifically rented for that purpose.

4. Fuel Policy

The vehicle will be provided with a full tank of fuel. The vehicle MUST be returned with a full tank. If it is returned with less than a full tank, TechFleet reserves the right to charge for the refueling cost plus an administrative service fee of [Insert Amount].

5. Insurance and Protection

· Collision Damage Waiver (CDW): The rental price includes a basic CDW, which reduces your financial liability in the event of damage. A standard excess/deductible of [Insert Amount] applies.

· Theft Protection: The vehicle is insured against theft, subject to a standard excess/deductible of [Insert Amount].

· Third-Party Liability: TechFleet holds mandatory third-party liability insurance as required by law.

· Excess Reduction: Customers may purchase a "Super CDW" or "Excess Reduction" package at the start of the rental to lower the deductible amount.

· Exclusions: The waiver is void if the damage occurs due to a breach of these terms (e.g., drunk driving, unauthorized driver).

6. Damage, Accidents, and Breakdown

· Reporting: Any accident or damage, regardless of severity, must be reported to TechFleet immediately and to the local police within [X] hours.

· Costs: The renter is responsible for all costs associated with damages incurred during the rental period, up to the amount of the insurance excess, or the full cost if the insurance is deemed void.

· Breakdowns: In case of a mechanical breakdown, please contact our roadside assistance at [Phone Number]. Unauthorized repairs will not be reimbursed.

7. Late Returns and Extensions

· Grace Period: A grace period of [59] minutes is applied. After this, an additional hour may be charged.

· Extensions: If you wish to extend the rental, you must contact TechFleet for approval prior to the original return time. Failure to return the vehicle on time may result in full daily rates being charged for each additional day, and the vehicle will be considered overdue, potentially reported as stolen.

8. Cleaning Fee

The vehicle should be returned in a clean condition, equivalent to its condition at pick-up. A cleaning fee of up to [Insert Amount] will be charged if the vehicle is returned excessively dirty (e.g., mud, pet hair, spills, smoke smell).

9. Termination and Default

TechFleet reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement and repossess the vehicle immediately without notice if the renater breaches any term of this agreement. The renater remains liable for all charges and costs incurred up to the point of repossession.
